Yesterday the Tokyo Conference Center was buzzing with visitors eager to learn how ARM–based devices are “Shaping the Connected World” during the ARM Tech Symposia 2015 Japan conference.
We presented a full range of our ultra-reliable and ultra-customizable ARM-based boards and systems which provide the fastest way to design and deploy enterprise IoT solutions that help to connect, collect, control, and communicate the flow of information and services. A live demo of the VIA Device Management System (DMS), showcasing our leading software customization and value-add services available for our platforms, attracted a great deal of interest from potential customers.
During the afternoon presentation tracks, Yoshiyuki Masuda, Business Development Director, VIA Technologies Japan, led one of the technical sessions titled “Gaining Access to Legacy I/O Devices with Android and Remote Management,” focusing on how we help customers overcome some of the key hurdles embedded developers face with Android, including how to gain access to legacy I/O with the VIA Smart ETK, speeding development time with VIA SDKs, and how to handle the remote deployment, maintenance and monitoring of Android devices through a series of real-world success cases.
