Prevent Pedestrian Accidents
With its smart people detection cameras, VIA Mobile360 FSS prevents pedestrian accidents by alerting the driver whenever it detects someone coming too close to the vehicle. The 3PD Package supports a 240° – 300° people detection zone using one rear and two side cameras, while the 2PD Package can be calibrated to create a zone of between 60° – 120° depending on the required detection sensitivity through its front and rear cameras. The people detection zone for both packages covers an area of between four and five meters depending on the camera installation height. The detection area can be configured with either a single zone (critical) or two zones (warning and critical) using the VIA WorkX smartphone app. A variety of voice, sound, and video alerts are available with the system and can also be configured by the app.

Using the DSS (Driver Safety System) camera available with the 2PD Package, VIA Mobile360 FSS makes sure operators remain fully attentive while they are behind the wheel by alerting them when it detects signs of fatigue, smartphone usage, and smoking. If the system is connected to the VIA WorkX Connect Cloud Management System, records of the DSS alerts can be analyzed to identify potential issues that need to be addressed in order to improve operator wellbeing and behavior.

For 2PD systems equipped with the VIA WorkX Connect Cloud Management Service, you can further boost forklift utilization with inspection reports and vehicle health and reliability checklists based on OSHA guidelines available through the companion smartphone app. Rich vehicle usage and operator behavior data, including real-time location tracking, driver and trip records, and safety alerts, enables you to glean deeper insights into your operations and identify opportunities for additional improvements in forklift efficiency and safety.

With its smart and robust design, installing VIA Mobile360 FSS is a snap. The VIA Mobile360 WorkX smart phone app makes it easy to calibrate the three cameras, adjust settings, and upgrade the firmware for the system. In addition to supporting all the most popular combustion-powered forklifts, the system can also be equipped with an optional 36V – 100V DC-DC power converter for EV models.

Currently available with all 2PD Package systems featuring a 4G modem, the service also supports live video monitoring, real-time vehicle tracking, geofencing, driver Face ID, and a host of other features.

VIA Mobile360 FSS comes in several packages and configurations, branching from two starting points: The 2PD + DSS Package and the 3PD Package.
