Overview
VIA EPIA-M920 Mini-ITX Board
The VIA EPIA-M920 combines the VIA VX11H Media system processor (MSP) offering DirectX® 11 and stereoscopic 3D display support with a choice of a 2.0GHz VIA QuadCore E-Series processor or a 1.6GHz VIA Eden® X4 quad core or 1.0GHz VIA Eden® X2 dual core processor for low-power, fanless system designs. With its rich I/O feature set and easy expandability, the board provides the ideal solution for a wide array of embedded applications, including the POS, kiosk, ATM, gaming, digital signage, healthcare, and digital media applications.
Hardware
Based on the Mini-ITX form factor measuring 17cm x 17cm, the VIA EPIA-M920 comes with a rich set of I/O and connectivity features, including two HDMI ports, one VGA port, two 18/24-bit LVDS connectors, three USB 3.0 ports, six USB 2.0 ports, and support for up to four COM ports.
Software
The EPIA-M920 is compatible with Microsoft® Windows® 10 IoT, Windows® 10, Windows® 8.1, Windows® 8, Windows® 7, WES7, and Windows® XP, as well as most popular Linux distributions. A wide range of software development tools are also available, including the VIA Smart ETK.
Expandability
The functionality of the VIA EPIA-M920 can be further enhanced with the integration of an optional high-speed Wi-Fi module and I/O expansion cards supporting up to four COM ports.
