VIA AMOS-825 In-Vehicle System

The VIA AMOS-825 is a robust fanless small form factor system that has been specifically designed for demanding in-vehicle applications with advanced features such as wide voltage input, a wide operating temperature range, sophisticated power management, and ignition-controlled quick boot.


Featuring a 1.0GHz quad core NXP i.MX 6Quad ARM Cortex-A9 SoC, the VIA AMOS-825 delivers all the computing and multimedia performance required for in-vehicle infotainment and navigation applications.

VIA AMOS-825 In-Vehicle System
A completely fanless system measuring 15.5mm (W) x 48.1mm (H) x 103.3mm (D), the VIA AMOS-825 has a ruggedized design able to withstand a wide operating temperature range from 0°C ~ 60°C, while offering extremely low power consumption of a mere 7W under typical operation. In addition to 1GB DDR3 SDRAM and 16GB eMMC Flash, the system has a rich array of connectivity features, including an integrated BT4.0/Wi-Fi/GPS/GNSS combo USB module, and a SCSI 50-pin D-sub connector and COM/CAN port that minimize the amount of system cabling required.


The VIA AMOS-825 Android BSP features Android 5.0 as well as the VIA Smart ETK comprising a number of APIs, including Watchdog Timer (WDT) for safeguarding against system crashes, GPIO access, COM port access, RTC for auto-power on, and a sample app. A full set of Android software customization services that speed up time to market and minimize development costs are also available.

An optional 7″ projective capacitive touch monitor is also available in order to facilitate complete system development.
