The integration of video telematics devices into an existing fleet management cloud infrastructure can be a costly and time-consuming process that requires extensive development resources.
One of our primary objectives with the VIA Mobile360 family is to make edge-to-cloud fleet deployments as convenient and affordable as possible, no matter which cloud platform has been adopted.
At the most basic level, this means that we have enabled support for all the most popular cloud interfaces and protocols in the SDKs that we provide with each VIA Mobile360 system or device. To optimize interoperability and performance on specific cloud platforms, we also participate in hardware validation programs such as the AWS Device Qualification Program (DQP) and the Microsoft Azure Certified Device Program.
To facilitate the edge-to-cloud integration of VIA Mobile360 systems, we offer with a broad spectrum of VIA Fleet BSP and SDK packages to choose from depending on your particular requirements, including:

VIA Fleet BSP: provides the source code and APIs to access lower level functions on the system;

VIA Fleet AI BSP: enables customers planning to port their own AI models, build their own applications on the system, and connect it to their own cloud;

VIA Fleet SDK: features the device + AI APIs for building custom applications for the system and cloud connection; also includes AWS IoT Core and KVS packages + instructions to register certificates and keys for an AWS cloud infrastructure.
For customers that need a fast and easy way to integrate the system into their existing AWS cloud infrastructure, we have gone a step further with the development of our VIA Fleet AWS Cloud SDK and VIA Fleet Cloud Management Portal.
The VIA Fleet AWS Cloud SDK removes the need for device-side development and allows smooth integration into the front end of a customer’s AWS portal through the cloud APIs that are included in the package. The basic architecture is illustrated in the diagram below.
A 30-day demonstration of the VIA Fleet Cloud Management Portal, including 50 hours of live streaming using Amazon KVS, is also available to enable customers to evaluate the real-time vehicle tracking, collision video alerts, and other fleet management functions that can be enabled on the systems.
