VIA Mobile360 Heavy Equipment Safety System
The centerpiece of our booth (#949) will be the VIA Mobile360 Heavy Equipment Safety System, which we launched at MINEXPO® 2021 in Las Vegas. This powerful and versatile system combines AI camera detection and mmWave radar smart sensor fusion technology to provide operators of heavy machinery with real-time alerts of approaching vehicles, machinery, and workers in all weather, lighting, and working conditions.
The system supports two configurable Warning and Critical detection zones to notify operators of potential hazards around the left, right and rear sides of their vehicle. Whenever it detects a person or object in either zone, it displays a color-coded indicator on the operator’s in-cabin screen. If it deems the object or person as a threat due to their trajectory, a blue box will flash around the color-coded indicator and the corresponding audio alert will also be played to alert the operator of the impending danger.
Because most accidents occur when a vehicle is reversing, we have also added a special Reverse Gear feature that treats all objects and people detected by the rear camera as threats regardless of their trajectories to ensure that the operator takes extra care when carrying out a backwards maneuver.
The VIA Mobile360 Heavy Equipment Safety System includes a ruggedized IP67-rated system, four FOV190° IP69K-rated 720p cameras, three IP69K-rated 77GHz mmWave radar sensors, a choice of 8.2” and 10.1” HD in-cabin monitors, and a 4.4W speaker. A full range of mountings and cables is also available.
The system can be installed on the most common types of loaders, off-highway trucks, and other vehicles, including the CAT 972M, CAT 980M, CAT 988K, CAT 775F, and John Deere 724. We also provide a comprehensive range of installation and customization services to meet specific deployment requirements.
VIA Mobile360 Forklift Safety System
Another highlight of the booth will be the VIA Mobile360 Forklift Safety System. With its AI-powered front and rear people detection and driver safety system features, this reliable IP67-rated system prevents pedestrian accidents and injuries by alerting the forklift operator whenever someone steps within up to five meters of the vehicle. To ensure operators remain fully attentive while they are behind the wheel, the system also emits a voice or audio alter when it detects signs of drowsiness, phone usage, and smoking through the driver camera.
VIA Mobile360 AI Dash Cam
The VIA Mobile360 D700 AI Dash Cam supports Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning and fatigue, smoking, and smart phone usage detection using its dual cameras. The D700 delivers a wealth of real-time data with its ultra-reliable 4G connectivity certified by Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and UScellular. Flexible cloud integration options for the D700 include a 30-day demonstration of the VIA Fleet Cloud Management Portal with 50 hours of live streaming using Amazon KVS.
