The VIA IVT01 in-vehicle Android Tablet integrates a MediaTek Genio 500 octa-core SoC with four Cortex-A73 @ 2.0GHz and four Cortex-A53 @ 2.0GHz processors and support for full HD hardware accelerated H.265/H.264 video decoding. This powerful yet energy-efficient SoC also has an integrated AI processor for computer vision, deep learning, and neural network acceleration applications.
In addition to an 8” MIPI FHD capacitive touch screen, the VIA IVT01 supports 4G, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. Its side-panel I/O features include a USB 2.0 connector, Micro SIM card slot, 3.5mm audio jack, connectors to support CAN, RS-232, GPIO, and 9V~36V DC-in power input.
With its small footprint measuring just 220mm (W) x 34mm (H) x 145mm (D) (8.66″ x 1.34″ x 5.71″), the VIA IVT01 can be easily installed in virtually any in-vehicle environment. Software

VIA IVT01 In-Vehicle Android Tablet BSP
The VIA IVT01 tablet BSP supports Android 10.0. The Android 10.0 EVK package to enable the system hardware functionality can be downloaded here. A full set of software customization services that speed up time to market and minimize development costs is also available.
